JOB SUMMARY
The Town of Prosper is currently seeking qualified and dedicated individual
for the position of:
Chief Building Inspector
Hiring Salary Range: $66,216.81 - $86,081.86

Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Four (4) years of experience in building inspections.
  • Two (2) of experience with a municipality.
  • Must possess Plumbing Examiners Inspector License.
  • Must possess International Code Council Residential and Commercial Combination Inspector Certification, or obtain it within one (1) year of employment.
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug screening, background check, and post-offer physical exam.
  • Must possess a valid Texas Class C driver's license.
  • Must pass MVR check.

The Chief Building Inspector provides the highest level of service to the engineering, architectural, construction community, and other citizens through the enforcement, interpretation, and application of building, zoning, and sign codes and other Town ordinances.
