Job description

Description

 The Building Maintenance Manager will oversee the operations and maintenance of properties and grounds. Ensuring the safety and security of properties and coordinating maintenance and facility management tasks. 


Description

Perform preventive maintenance on all operating equipment

Maintain and update information in equipment logs

Respond to service calls and make necessary repairs

Perform chemical test of building water treatment systems

Basic knowledge of electrical and HVAC equipment 

Must be able to multitask and lift 50 or more pounds

Ensure and maintain accurate records that meet all facility safety regulations and fire codes (DEQ)

Ability to interpret mechanical and electrical drawings

Negotiate contracts and supervise the work of third-party vendors and contractors

Order supplies for maintenance and building 

Requirements

Completion of High School

Two + years of experience in building maintenance

Knowledgeable of basic computer skills with experience with word documents and excel 

Strong problem solving and organizational skills

Understanding of HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems and fire safety, state and federal regulations
