Allen County Government is looking for a knowledgeable, hands-on professional to step into the role of Residential Building Inspector. What You’ll Do

As a Residential Building Inspector, you’ll be out in the field and in the community:

  • Conduct inspections on new construction, remodels, and residential renovations
  • Ensure compliance with state and local building codes
  • Partner with contractors, designers, and property owners to explain requirements and resolve issues
  • Investigate complaints and follow through to resolution
  • Document findings, prepare reports, and track compliance
