At Jamf, we empower people to be their best selves and do their best work. The Channel Account Manager is responsible for providing direct support for the sales strategy and execution designed to drive incremental revenue via channel partners.
For those candidates who live near a Jamf office, you may be expected to work periodically in-office or collaborative work location with other Jamf employees in your area for certain events or moments that matter.
What you can expect to do in this role:
  • Attain assigned sales targets and/or other key measures of success
  • Develop and execute a business plan in partnership with Apple channel team to dramatically grow channel-created business with assigned partners
  • Identify, enable and support Apple channel sales and marketing team members and their partner activities
  • Develop an appropriate strategy for assigned partners and lead and manage team members responsible for these partners
  • Develop targeted campaigns, success metrics and investment cases with Apple and assigned partners to grow channel-sourced opportunities
  • Work with Channel Marketing team to create relevant content for partner sales enablement
  • Provide resolution for partner/customer issues, and engage Jamf sales teams where appropriate, ensuring follow through by appropriate Jamf employees
  • Identify end customer business and technical needs relative to Jamf features and benefits, and communicate opportunities for improvement to Product Management
  • Attend appropriate events/tradeshows to engage partner sellers and communicate the Jamf value to their customers and prospects
  • Create measurable and timely objectives, strategies and pertinent campaigns to achieve desired business outcomes, reflected in a jointly developed business plan with the partner that is in-sync with partner and Jamf objectives.
  • Lead the partner marketing strategy, collaborate with Jamf channel marking on campaign development and execution tied to business plan objectives
  • Execute on business plan, course correct as needed and report results to Jamf leadership
  • Create an environment where all job responsibilities are in alignment with the core values, mission and purpose of the Jamf organization
  • Foster a workplace with the highest moral, ethical, and legal standards to deliver an environment that promotes respect, innovation and creativity
  • Model a positive, inclusive workplace - one in which the talents and strengths of our increasingly diverse workforce are welcomed, further developed, and manifested in our work
  • Provide clear vision, strategies, support, and expectations to ensure employees are able to learn, grow and expand their skills, perspectives and experiences to help grow Jamf.

What we are looking for:
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of people management experience(Required)
  • Minimum of 3-4 years of channel/industry experience(Required)
  • Ability to recruit, manage and motivate a partner account team
  • Proven track record in sales, with demonstrated quota achievement(Required)
  • Channel sales and software experience with deep understanding of partner ecosystems and routes to market
  • Ability to effectively present business and technical concepts to all levels of a partner or end-customer organization
  • Knowledge of financial terms and concepts to understand the partner's business and to justify investments in the partner
  • Find, create and foster relationships across all organizational levels: Partners, Apple, Jamf
  • Mastery of industry trends around Apple, mobility, security and other relevant fields.
  • Ability to lead partner conversations to establish Jamf's unique value proposition as it pertains to partners and Apple's priorities
  • Working experience with Salesforce
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
  • Enthusiastically accept new challenges and lead by example
  • Experience working in the Apple channel ecosystem (Preferred)

  • HS Diploma / GED Degree (Required)

At Jamf, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is set within a defined range. These ranges can vary based on hiring location. Where an individual's pay falls within that range depends on several factors, including role scope, location, budget, skills, experience, and qualifications. This approach helps ensure fair, competitive pay and provides room to grow as you develop in your role.
For sales and commission-based roles, we post On-Target Earnings (OTE), which includes base salary plus estimated commission based on achieving 100% of performance targets. Commission is not guaranteed and varies based on individual performance results.
