Job description

Channel Account Manager

Eaton's ES AMER NAS division is currently seeking a Channel Account Manager within 50 miles of Woodridge, IL, Tampa, FL or Glenolden, PA.

What You'll Do:

Work on a team that is dedicated to partnering with CDW. Will be responsible for onsite engagement with sales teams, sales management, and solution architect teams. Will work with CDW Account Managers to uncover, follow-up and close large deals. The candidate will also assist on conference calls, quotes, tracking and resolving customer issues. The CAM will establish and maintain an effective relationship with the customer, through consultative and partnership selling activities and a comprehensive understanding of their power, rack, and connectivity needs. This candidate will create & execute innovative marketing and sales programs and contests, as well as conduct sales trainings, team sits, and other revenue generating activities with the CDW salesforce.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Drive CDW channel sales of D-IT (single phase UPS, PDU, racks, connectivity) and CPS products (3-Phase UPS) and services to meet revenue and margin objectives within CDW
  • Manage and optimize the relationship with CDW Account Managers, ensuring alignment with their business goals and objectives.
  • Develop and execute successful marketing programs and events; helping to drive sales growth and deepen customer relationships.
  • Manage key market trends & competitor initiatives that could impact sales and Eaton positioning in the CDW marketplace
  • Provide technical and solution-based product training to CDW audience
  • Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and areas for improvement.
  • Create and manage healthy sales opportunity pipeline through SalesForce.com
  • Provide regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and competitive analysis to management.
Qualifications:

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution
  • Minimum of 3 years of sales experience
  • Ability to travel 25% of the time.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or Marketing from an accredited institution.
  • 5+ years of experience in sales, technical support, or marketing.
  • IT Channel experience (CDW experience preferred)

The compensation range for this full-time position includes base pay and target sales performance incentive. This position has a target total compensation range of $107,250 - $157,300.

Base salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
