Join our team! Modern farm to table catering company seeking an enthusiastic, design-oriented, talented Event Coordinator who will be dedicated to a specific venue who is a top producer. Seedling & Sage specializes in planning events all over the Philadelphia region and the suburbs.

We specialize in unique locations like barns, farms, arboretums, distilleries and private homes.

We don’t just create menus, we style events and, most important – We Make People Happy.

DESCRIPTION:

The role of the Event Designer at Seedling and Sage is to work closely with the Sales Manager

to nurture client relationships, and ensure seamless event execution. Additionally, you will

manage a portfolio of events for a key client, guiding clients through the planning process and

executing their vision with precision.

Job Duties:

  • Event Planning & Coordination
  • Collaborating with culinary team to create custom menus
  • Detail events with clients, site tours, vendor selection
  • Client Communication- main point of contact for client during the planning process and

after event to ensure satisfaction.

  • Site visits- visit event sites to assess setup needs, and logistics
  • Rental check ins
  • Preparation of event orders, rental orders,
  • Create captain packets to include banquet event order, floor plans, rentals
  • Attend industry meetings and networking events
  • Ceremonies, rehearsals
  • Independent self -starter with “do what it takes” attitude
  • Passionate for food and events
  • Caterease and Nowsta software knowledge a plus
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Must have reliable transportation and must be on time, no exceptions
  • Nights, weekends as needed
  • Ability to lift 30+ pounds Ability to be on feet for extended periods of time

Physical Demands and Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to walk/stand up to the entire day and occasionally sit in meetings or in front of a computer screen. The employee must occasionally reach, bend, stoop and lift up to 30 lbs., reach overhead and have the stamina to work up to 45-50 hours a week.
