Our client, a very reputable Product firm is looking to hire Network Operations Manager.  Looking for a Technical leader who will be responsible for managing the networks and data center operations. Overseeing 8 total, the Network Ops Manager mus be able to mentor, train, lead/develop.

Job Description
    • Oversee and manage operations: voice, video, and data networks along with supporting and ensuring both data centers are operating reliably and with an up time of no less than 99.95%. 
    • Responsible for the direction of the unit and serves as the team lead. 
    • Responsible for planning, organizing and managing the team - comprised of technical professionals.
    • Act as a point of escalation to resolve complex request or issues.
    • Assist Sr. Director/CIO with IT operational plans.
    • Assist in the test of various disaster recovery and business continuity/contingency plans.
    • Ensure all aspects of the network and data center adhere to standards with regard to rack, stack, power utilization, cabling, and labeling.
    • Implement and enhance technology standards, based on best practices - ensuring high system availability and providing an architecture that is easily sustainable, compatible, and scalable for future implementations.
    Qualifications
    • 6-8 years of LAN/WAN, VOIP, Virtualization, and also Call Center experience
    • 1-3  years' team or department lead experience.
    • Experience with Cisco network technologies and VMware Technologies
    • B.S. in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or related major; or equivalent business experience.
    • Prior team lead experience within an IT organization.
    • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
    • Excellent interpersonal skills, professionalism, and maturity.
    • Strong work ethic with an infectious customer focused can-do attitude
