Job description

The Business Operations Specialist plays a critical role in supporting operational efficiency and client service delivery. This position is responsible for coordinating consultant onboarding and offboarding activities in vendor management system (VMS), driving ticket and task completion through client systems, and partnering cross-functionally to ensure seamless execution of operational processes for a multinational technology company that specializes in Internet-related services and products, including online advertising technologies, cloud computing, software, and hardware. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and resourceful with a strong operations mindset with experience providing support for large enterprise clients. This individual thrives in fast-paced environments, enjoys problem-solving and investigative work, and can navigate ambiguity to drive tasks to completion. Key Responsibilities Manage onboarding, offboarding, system access, and project information in client VMS platform portfolio of 60+ consultants with growth anticipated Monitor, manage, and drive task completion through client ticketing systems and operational workflows 30% - Onboarding (LDAP in Fieldglass or Pavel method) 30% - Triage problems in ticketing systems 10% - Responding to questions over email (from consultants, BD, recruiting, etc.) 10% - Follow ups (mostly timecards and invoice follow ups) 10% - Projects (from Google and/or Sage some examples: org chart, process docs, validating info in sheets sent by Google) 5% - Offboarding (Fieldglass and equipment) Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal teams, consultants, vendors, and client contacts Partner with client stakeholders, consultants, and internal team to ensure timely resolution and prioritization of urgent operational requests Investigate and resolve issues with system access, onboarding, process discrepancies, etc. through research and cross-functional collaboration Track operational tasks, follow-ups, and deadlines to ensure successful completion, even when faced with limited information or process roadblocks Proactively identify process inefficiencies and recommend operational improvements Communicate professionally and effectively across multiple teams and levels of the organization Support ad hoc operational projects and reporting as needed Required Skills & Qualifications 4+ years of experience in business operations, workforce operations, staffing operations, or a related field supporting enterprise-level clients Experience working within VMS platforms, preferably SAP Fieldglass Experience managing tasks through ticketing or workflow management systems Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously Demonstrated problem-solving and investigative ("sleuthing") abilities Proven ability to independently drive tasks to completion and navigate obstacles or incomplete information Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to build collaborative relationships with cross-functional teams Proficiency in Google Suite and Microsoft Office Suite Preferred Qualifications Experience providing support for enterprise-level clients Experience supporting staffing, consulting, or contingent workforce environments Familiarity with onboarding compliance documentation and workforce processes Experience working in fast-paced, client-driven operational environments Knowledge of operational reporting and process improvement methodologies #J-18808-Ljbffr
