Business Operations Specialist

The Business Operations Specialist is responsible for managing medical implant inventory throughout its lifecycle, including receiving, inspecting, documenting, labeling, replenishing, reconciling, and ensuring proper storage of products. This role utilizes Redspot and Salesforce to accurately track inventory transactions, including lot numbers, serial numbers, expiration dates, consignment inventory, product usage, and returns. The Business Operations Specialist proactively monitors inventory levels, coordinates replenishment of critical implants and surgical supplies to prevent stock shortages, and maintains accurate inventory records through routine cycle counts, audits, and reconciliations between physical inventory and system records. Additionally, this position prepares and coordinates surgical implant kits to ensure timely, accurate, and efficient case fulfillment while supporting the highest standards of inventory accuracy and operational excellence.


Job requirements

A high school diploma or equivalent is required; additional education or certifications in Business, Operations, Supply Chain, or Healthcare are preferred but not required. Entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply, with prior experience in inventory management, operations, logistics, warehouse, customer service, or healthcare environments considered a plus. Candidates should possess strong attention to detail and the ability to accurately inspect, label, document, and handle medical implants and surgical inventory, including tracking lot numbers, expiration dates, and inventory reconciliation. Experience with Redspot, Salesforce, Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and Outlook), and inventory management systems is preferred. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify inventory discrepancies, quality concerns, and regulatory compliance issues.
