Sonrava Health is a rapidly expanding network of Dental practices focused on delivering high-quality, accessible dental care. We harness data and technology to drive performance, optimize operations, and improve patient outcomes. Our BI team empowers operational and executive leadership with actionable insights across functions including clinical performance, financial planning, marketing analytics, and patient experience
The Business Intelligence (BI) Manager will lead the design, development, and delivery of business intelligence solutions that inform strategic and tactical decision-making. This role will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders (Operations, RCM, Finance, Clinical Quality, Marketing, IT) to translate business needs into analytical solutions. The BI Manager will also oversee a small team of analysts and ensure data quality, governance, and ongoing refinement of reporting practices.
Responsibilities
Data & Insights Leadership
  • Lead the planning, prioritization, and delivery of BI projects, dashboards, and reports supporting key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Translate business questions into analytical requirements and BI solutions for operational and executive teams.
  • Partner with stakeholders across the organization to understand needs and deliver
  • Act as a trusted advisor by identifying opportunities to leverage data for improved outcomes and efficiency.
  • Facilitate requirements gathering, solution design discussions, and user acceptance testing.

Technical & Analytical Execution
  • Develop, maintain, and evolve dashboards and reports using BI platforms (Power BI and SAS).
  • Guide data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes to ensure reliable, accurate data pipelines.
  • Perform root-cause analysis and deliver data-driven recommendations to improve performance in areas such as patient volume, revenue cycle, office productivity, and marketing ROI.

Team Leadership & Development
  • Manage and mentor BI analysts and data specialists; provide coaching, performance feedback, and training.
  • Establish standards, best practices, and documentation for BI processes and team practices.

Governance & Quality
  • Champion data governance, ensuring consistency in metrics definitions and data integrity across systems.
  • Monitor BI solution adoption and usage; iterate and improve to enhance value and user satisfaction.

Strategy & Continuous Improvement
  • Contribute to the BI and analytics roadmap aligned with organizational strategy.
  • Evaluate and recommend enhancements to BI tools, processes, and architecture.
  • Stay current with Power BI features, healthcare analytics trends, and data visualization best practices.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Analytics, Business Intelligence, Computer Science, Business, or related field (Master's preferred).
  • 10+ years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or related roles - preferably in healthcare or large multi-site operations.
  • 3-5 years of experience in managerial leadership
  • Hands-on experience with business intelligence tools such as Power BI, SAS software, Sequel Silver,Tableau etc
  • Strong SQL skills and comfort working with relational databases and ETL frameworks.
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Experience leading analytics projects and delivering insights to senior leadership.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to translate complex data into narrative reports.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior management experience with mentoring and performance management.
  • SAS enterprise and ETL experience.
  • Healthcare operations experience (revenue cycle, clinical, marketing analytics).
  • Familiarity with enterprise data warehousing, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), and modern data stack tools.
