Job description

Business Development Specialist (Remote)
A Business Development Specialist works within the Business Development Department to support the identification of prospective customers and generation of new business opportunities for DMCR.
DUTIES amp; RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Maintaining a working knowledge of current FDA regulations, GCP/ICH guidelines, organizational SOPs, guidance documents, and study protocols.
  • Gain knowledge about the company’s products and/or services, competition and industry trends
  • Finding and applying for new clinical research studies through the generation, follow-up and execution of leads
  • Identify potential customers or clients through networking or research, contacting them to introduce DMCR
  • Develop and maintain customer/client relationships to ensure product satisfaction
  • Completing feasibility questionnaires, and interacting with the sponsor and CRO during the site selection process
  • Create presentation and/or sales pitch for prospective customers/clients
  • Conduct sales calls to prospective clients to determine their needs and interests and how DMCR can accommodate
  • Manage leads through the DMCR pipeline and track progress with CRM
  • Collaborate with other Business-focused departments and cross-functional teams/tasks within DMCR
  • Support senior staff on outward facing strategies and lead generation efforts
  • Other duties assigned by management team

KNOWLEDGE amp; EXPERIENCE
Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Sales, Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or related fields, required
  • Masters degree in above mentioned fields, preferred
Experience:
  • 1+ years years of Clinical Research experience, preferred
  • 2+ years in Business related field
  • 2+ years in Sales
  • 2+ years in a Customer Service environment
  • 2+ years utilizing a CRM
Credentials:
  • DMCR-required training, including GCP and IATA
Knowledge and Skills:
  • Ability to create, build and maintain internal and external relationships
  • Ability to navigate through complex situations
  • Flawless communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong time-management and organization skills
  • Ability to be flexible and adaptable to needs of the company
  • Desire to grow in sales
  • Ability to work under pressure
