Position Overview:

This role is an exciting opportunity to help customers create smarter, more efficient, and better-connected buildings through HVAC controls, BAS programming, system integration, commissioning, troubleshooting, and customer-facing technical support.

As a Building Automation Specialist, you will play an important role in programming, integrating, commissioning, and supporting building automation systems that improve facility comfort, efficiency, and performance. You will work closely with Sales Engineers, Project Managers, customers, and internal technical teams to deliver well-designed, properly configured, and fully documented solutions that meet project goals and customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

Program and integrate BAS and I/O controllers to support reliable building automation systems.

Partner with project teams and customers to review drawings, specifications, and network requirements.

Commission systems, verify operation, and help deliver smooth project handoffs.

Maintain clear documentation of programming, revisions, and system changes.

Troubleshoot controls, software, equipment, and network integration challenges.

Provide responsive technical support and contribute to continuous improvement.

Education & Experience:

Required Qualifications:

Minimum of two years of experience installing, programming, commissioning, troubleshooting, or servicing building automation control systems.

Working knowledge of HVAC controls, field controllers, I/O devices, and building automation system operation.

Understanding of IP networking architecture and building automation communication protocols, including BACnet, Modbus, MSTP, and LON.

Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, electrical drawings, line diagrams, specifications, and contracts.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and mobile computing devices.

Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.

Ability to pass customer-required background checks, badging, and site access requirements.


Preferred Qualifications:

Associate's degree, Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent combination of education and hands-on technical experience.

Experience with Niagara AX, Niagara N4, Schneider Electric EcoStruxure, or similar building automation platforms.

Experience programming JACE controllers, Schneider Electric field controllers, or similar BAS controllers.
