PFS Hospital Billing Supervisor

The Patient Financial Services (PFS) - Hospital Billing (HB) Supervisor assists the Manager of Billing in his/her job responsibilities as directed or assigned by the Manager of Billing of Patient Financial Services. Essential functions and responsibilities include contributing to Eskenazi Health's mission, modeling Eskenazi Health values, accomplishing leadership objectives, supervising daily tasks of the hospital billing and follow-up team, onboarding new hires, completing performance reviews, communicating effectively, managing and overseeing the daily operations of the billing department, identifying process improvement opportunities, collaborating with PFS, IT, and claims administration staff, guiding employee actions, updating job knowledge, and possessing knowledge, skills, and abilities in medical billing and coding, reimbursement methodologies, payor coverages, and software proficiency.
