What You'll Do
  • Support Customer and Partner Financial Onboarding: Support and manage the financial onboarding of new merchants and partners into the Zipline financial system ecosystem, ensuring compliance with all requirements and actively following up on missing information.
  • Preparing and Processing Payout Lifecycle: Manage the generation, validation, and initiation of weekly and monthly partner payout statements, ensuring high accuracy and compliance.
  • System Optimization and Implementation Support: Assist with User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and system architecture enhancements for new billing engine implementations.
  • Root-Cause Dispute Resolution: Deep-dive into merchant disputes and systemic billing errors, identifying root causes and assisting with implementing long-term system fixes. Propose concession payments to Revenue Manager and Customer Success for approval.
  • Month-End & Reconciliations: Prepare month-end close journal entries as assigned and support the senior billing analyst as needed.
  • Process Automation and Continuous Improvement: Continuously evaluate current billing workflows to identify process improvements and eliminate manual interventions, helping to scale Zipline's financial operations.
  • Customer, Partner Relationships: Build and maintain positive professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
What You'll Bring
  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in billing operations, financial system, corporate accounting (high-growth tech experience is a major plus).
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting, or a related field.
  • Advanced Excel proficiency (Power Query, VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables) is required and critical to success.
  • Experience with NetSuite/Oracle or similar Tier 1 ERP and financial products (FISPAN, Stripe, billing engines)
  • Strong data analytics capabilities; familiarity with SQL or data visualization tools (Mode, Tableau, PowerBI) is highly preferred.
  • Detail-oriented approach with strong organization skills
  • Strong communication (written and verbal), interpersonal and listening skills
  • Proven ability to navigate ambiguity, manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment, and translate complex technical issues into clear financial impacts.
What Else You Need to Know

The starting cash range for this role is $100,000-$125,000. Please note that this is a target, starting cash range for a candidate who meets the minimum qualifications for this role. The final cash pay for this role will depend on a variety of factors, including a specific candidate's experience, qualifications, skills, working location, and projected impact. The total compensation package for this role may also include: equity compensation; discretionary annual or performance bonuses; sales incentives; benefits such as medical, dental and vision insurance; paid time off; and more.
