Billing Operations Specialist
As a Billing Operations Specialist, you will support and maintain billing processes that are essential to our Business and Media’s financial operations. Your role will focus on ensuring accurate and timely billing, supporting customer satisfaction, and contributing to process improvements. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance (FP&A, accounting), sales, operations, engineering, and customer support, to address billing needs, resolve discrepancies, and help implement scalable solutions that align with our goals.
Responsibilities:
  • Support billing operations processes to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with company policies and industry regulations for Media and Business.
  • Calculate and manually adjust invoices or billing entries in line with established procedures, maintaining accuracy and adherence to standards.
  • Assist in identifying and recommending opportunities to improve existing billing systems and processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Sales Operations, FP&A, Product Management, Engineering (Product, CRM, IT Corp, and FinTech), and Customer Support, to address billing needs and operational challenges.
  • Contribute to initiatives aimed at streamlining billing workflows and enhancing customer satisfaction.
  • Assist in managing stakeholder expectations by clearly communicating updates and milestones.
  • Track and report on key metrics to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Analyze billing data to identify discrepancies and provide actionable recommendations for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and assist in preparing detailed reports on billing operations for internal review.
Experience & Skills:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or equivalent work experience.
  • 2-4 years of experience in billing operations, finance, or a related field; technical experience is a plus.
  • Experience in B2B or media sales billing is a plus.
  • Familiarity with billing systems and software; proficiency in GSuite and Salesforce is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in all tasks.
  • Ability to identify and resolve issues with guidance, and implement changes effectively.
  • Clear and professional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
