Job description

Position Information
The Lampeter-Strasburg School District is seeking an Early Childhood Coordinator for a supplemental position. This role serves as the coordinator of the birth - age 5 programs for the district and as the primary liaison between the district, local preschools, and incoming families to facilitate the transition to kindergarten. Responsibilities include collaborating with community childcare providers, aligning early learning expectations and experiences, and participating in relevant early childhood committees and teams.  The coordinator also manages the logistics and execution of annual kindergarten registration and screening events. The role involves analyzing readiness data to assist the building leadership team with student placements, as well as designing family transition programming.

Early Childhood or Elementary Education degree preferred. 


Required Qualifications Upon Offer of Employment:

  1. Current PA Criminal History background check
  2. Current FBI Criminal background check
  3. Current Child Abuse background check
  4. Proof of TB test, results must be within the past year
