Automotive BDC Manager

Job Summary

We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven BDC Manager to lead our Business Development Center team. In this role, you will be responsible for hiring, training, and managing representatives who engage with potential customers to generate appointments for our sales team. Your leadership will ensure the successful execution of inbound and outbound call strategies that drive showroom traffic and increase revenue.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of BDC representatives to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly performance goals.
  • Develop and execute outbound internet and phone campaigns based on marketing-generated leads.
  • Monitor and maintain accurate lead tracking and ensure timely follow-up on all inquiries.
  • Analyze lead and sales data to identify trends and optimize appointment-setting performance.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership and department managers to align appointment strategies with sales goals.
  • Handle escalated customer inquiries when necessary and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain daily operations of the BDC, including staffing, scheduling, and workflow management.
  • Provide comprehensive training and ongoing support to team members to improve performance and productivity.
  • Comply with all company policies, procedures and safety standards.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Previous dealership and management experience.
  • Strong skills in customer service, communication, and computer proficiency.
  • Professional, well-groomed personal appearance.
