Job Summary:
Assigned to the NS&E Construction Functional organization as a Construction Automation Coordinator Smart Completions , you will manage and execute processes for the deployment of the digital delivery program for nuclear projects. This includes administering and populating the portfolio of construction automation applications (Bechtel Standard Applications) as well as managing data requirements and workflows.
In this role, you will also support the configuration, implementation, and sustainment of Smart Completions (SC) for construction and commissioning turnover.
This position will initially be full-time telework but is expected to transition to an assigned Nuclear Project and require relocation to the site. #LI-CL1
Major Responsibilities:
Project
  • Administer, configure, and maintain Smart Completions (SC) to support construction, testing, and turnover work processes.
  • Develop and manage SC data structures, including tags, systems, subsystems, check sheets, ITRs, forms, and work package linkages.
  • Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Commissioning to ensure SC data is accurate, approved, and aligned with system boundaries and turnover sequences.
  • Populate, validate, and maintain SC databases to ensure data quality, traceability, and completeness throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Support creation and maintenance of Smart Completions dashboards, progress tracking tools, and reporting structures for the function and the projects.
  • Facilitate integration between Smart Completions, Advance Work Package (AWP) / Installation Work Package (IWP) processes, and other Bechtel Standard Applications.
  • Troubleshoot SC workflow issues and coordinate resolution with project functional groups and application support teams.
  • Train project personnel on Smart Completions usage, navigation, data input, and reporting.
  • Support development and standardization of SC procedures, templates, checklists, and execution guides across NS&E projects.

Education and Experience Requirements:
  • Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 5-8 years of relevant experience, or 9-12 years of relevant work experience.

Required Knowledge and Skills:
  • Experience with Smart Completions including system configuration, data loading, check sheet/ITR setup, and turnover workflow management.
  • Knowledge of the Advance Work Packaging (AWP) program, Installation Work Package (IWP) process, Inspection Test Records (ITR), Data Sheets, and other construction-required forms.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Self-starter, highly motivated, requiring little supervision, and able to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Knowledge of SQL Server, including database view and procedure creation, Power BI, and SSRS report development.
  • Knowledge of electronic document conversion and digitalization of physical documents.
  • Ability to work within tight schedules and manage diverse document types while ensuring accuracy and completeness of converted materials

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Familiarity with Bechtel Standard Applications used by the Construction Team.
  • Knowledge of Bechtel Standard Applications functionality.
