Vice President, Automation and Engineering
Join the Automation, Engineering and Infrastructure leadership team driving innovation in our supply chain operations. As Vice President, you will direct the operations Engineering and Automation departments, overseeing the design delivery and maintenance of advanced technical solutions to optimize fulfillment center performance across North America and collaborating with global partners.

  • Design, develop, and guide technology strategy, roadmap, and long-term plans and objectives to enable the technical solutions for the business!
  • Innovative leader driving technical solutions on: end-to-end Supply Chain, material handling equipment, Robotics (ASRS, AutoStore, AMR's, AGV's, Etc) , Process Optimization, green and brown field designs.
  • Lead and develop all operations focused engineering teams, consisting of industrial engineering, automation, process and manufacturing engineering disciplines.
  • Establish a culture that maintains a true agile software project management methodology within the team to enhance project delivery.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to rank business needs and facilitate a project portfolio that addresses them, while guiding the Automation, Engineering and Infrastructure team through the implementation phase.
  • Lead the overall team to ensure successful complex design, testing, and implementation of fulfillment automation solutions.
  • Foster a culture of ongoing Continuous Improvement by leveraging a thorough grasp of the technologies, transformations, and processes central to our Meal Kits and Ready to Eat sectors.
  • Take ownership for overall evaluation and design of software and controls aspects of large scale automation systems
  • Ensure comprehensive software infrastructure and support strategy that provides a 24x7 availability, reliability, and scalability across all North America fulfillment centers and hubs.
  • Lead the entire US team professionals responsible for network operations/admin, end user technical support and local server / VMware network management.
  • Create vision and implement data analytics to identify operational gaps and justify new technologies to introduce into NA fulfillment centers
  • Ensure successful software and controls system implementations from design through deployment across North America
  • Take ownership for bringing in new technologies and processes within the overall Automation, Engineering and Infrastructure organization and improve efficiencies by providing solutions to technology alternatives.
  • Identify ways of using AI as an accelerator of continuous improvement and then develop the roadmap to execute that acceleration.

  • BS degree required. Engineering or Software Engineering Degree
  • 15+ years experience in project management and software development
  • 15+ years of experience in multi-site industrial distribution, manufacturing, or processing environments
  • 15+ years of managing engineering teams
  • Efficient Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power Point), Google app (Gmail, drive, sheets, etc.)
  • Experience with JIRA and other Program management softwares
  • This position requires 40% travel globally!
