Reporting to the CIO, the Vice President of AI & Automation is responsible for governing, prioritizing, and delivering enterprise AI and automation initiatives that drive measurable business value across Patrick Industries. This role serves as the execution engine behind the enterprise AI strategy, translating prioritized use cases into scalable, production-grade solutions through a DevOps-enabled, agile delivery model.
The VP will operate at the intersection of business and technology—ensuring full lifecycle accountability from intake and prioritization through build, deployment, and scaled adoption. This leader will drive traceability from AI use cases to defined KPIs, business outcomes, and alignment to Patrick’s IT Strategic Pillars:

Key responsibilities include:

  • Lead end-to-end execution of the enterprise AI portfolio, ensuring delivery of prioritized use cases aligned to business objectives and strategic pillars
  • Translate AI Executive Steering Committee priorities into executable roadmaps, product backlogs, and delivery plans
  • Establish and operate a DevOps-based AI delivery model, including CI/CD pipelines, model deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement
  • Drive agile product delivery practices with rapid iteration cycles focused on measurable business outcomes
  • Ensure all AI initiatives meet enterprise governance standards across security, data, architecture, and compliance (Resilient Operations)
  • Own full lifecycle value realization for AI initiatives—defining KPIs, tracking performance, and ensuring achievement of targeted business outcomes (Value Optimization)
  • Create and maintain traceability from use case → KPI → financial/operational impact → strategic pillar alignment
  • Partner with business leaders to quantify benefits, prioritize investments, and ensure accountability for results
  • Design and scale reusable AI platforms, pipelines, and automation capabilities to accelerate enterprise adoption (Innovative Advantage)
  • Drive standardization of delivery frameworks, playbooks, and engineering practices to enable repeatable success across business units
  • Lead cross-functional teams spanning data, engineering, automation, and business stakeholders in a federated operating model
