Job description

SHIPPING CLERK 
Automation Personnel Services is seeking a Shipping Clerk for a fabrication shop in Ringgold, GA. In this role, you will be responsible for handling incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accurate inventory records, proper packaging, and timely delivery.

This is a fulltime temporary to hire position.
 
Pay rate 
$18.00 per hour 
 
Schedule and Hours 
6:00am – 4:30pm Monday through Thursday, overtime Fridays 
 
Shipping Clerk Duties and Responsibilities
• Loading and unloading trucks manually as well using forklift
• Unpack, verify, and record incoming merchandise or material using computer system and spreadsheets
• Coordinate delivery of received items internally
• Assist with inventory tracking of material received and stored
 
Shipping Clerk Qualifications and Requirements
• Solid computer knowledge for data entry and inventory
• Read a tape measure
• Forklift experience is required
• Lift 50lbs throughout workday (in office assessment will be conducted)
