Northstar Memorial Group

Nashville, TN • On-site

Full-time

Re-posted 15 days ago

Job description

At NorthStar Memorial Group, we’re redefining what it means to serve families and communities and we’re looking for a Funeral Home Manager who is ready to lead from the front.

This is more than an operations role. It’s an opportunity to take ownership of a high-volume, growing business (600+ calls annually with an on-site cemetery) and lead a team inside a recently remodeled, modern facility. You’ll have the autonomy to think entrepreneurially, the support to grow, and the platform to make a meaningful impact in the Nashville community.

We’re proud to have been recognized as a USA Today 2026 Top Workplace, a reflection of our people-first culture and commitment to excellence.

If you’re an accessible, resourceful leader who takes pride in ownership and thrives in a fast-paced environment we want to hear from you.

What You’ll Do
  • Lead from the front—build a culture that is respectful, communicative, accountable, and service-driven
  • Own the business by directing day-to-day operations, financial performance, and long-term growth
  • Drive results by achieving case volume and revenue goals while maintaining strong expense discipline
  • Engage the community through outreach, events, and partnerships with churches, hospitals, nursing homes, and community organizations
  • Develop your team by hiring, coaching, and motivating professionals to consistently exceed family expectations

What You Bring
  • Licensed Funeral Director & Embalmer in Tennessee (or ability to reciprocate)
  • 5+ years of experience in the funeral profession or related field
  • 2+ years of leadership experience, with a proven ability to build and lead high-performing teams
  • A hands-on, accessible leadership style
  • An entrepreneurial mindset—you take initiative, solve problems, and think like an owner

Why NorthStar?
  • Quarterly bonus opportunity tied to performance
  • Cell phone allowance
  • Lead a growing, high-volume location with strong market presence
  • Remodeled facility with cemetery on-site
  • USA Today 2026 Top Workplace
  • Real opportunity to lead, grow, and make your mark

At NorthStar Memorial Group, we value dedication, recognize potential, and celebrate ethical leadership. You won’t just manage a location—you’ll help shape its future.

NorthStar Memorial Group is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or veteran status.
