NorthStar Memorial Group is seeking a Funeral Home Manager at Skylawn Funeral Home & Memorial Park in Half Moon Bay, CA. Responsibilities
  • Participate in planning and executing culturally significant events and community outreach initiatives, including partnerships with churches, hospitals, nursing homes, and community centers.
  • Demonstrate impeccable etiquette and professionalism in every interaction, consistently reflecting NorthStar Memorial Group's values and compliance expectations.
  • Maintain mastery of all product offerings, service processes, and organizational policies to confidently address complex questions from families and the public.
  • Actively listen to families and channel meaningful insights to internal marketing and product teams to support continuous improvement.
  • Lead, coach, and develop Funeral Arrangers and Care Center Staff, fostering a culture of respect, accountability, communication, and high performance.
  • Direct funeral home operations and collaborate across departments to ensure seamless service delivery and operational excellence.
  • Drive achievement of annual case volume and revenue goals while continuously elevating the family experience within the funeral home.
  • Select, train, and motivate staff to ensure service delivery consistently exceeds family expectations.

Compensation range of $105,000 - 125,000/yr.

Qualifications
  • Licensed Funeral Director in the state of California or must be able to reciprocate
  • 5+ years of experience in related field

  • Professional communication and effective leadership skills
