Associate Sales Representative

What will you be doing?

  • Supporting Sales Representatives with case coverage and in account activity
  • Setting up, installing, maintaining and troubleshooting equipment
  • Managing demo inventory and ensuring product availability across customer sites
  • Coordinating and transporting inventory between accounts
  • Delivering in service education and product guidance to hospital teams
  • Learning and mastering detailed product and procedural knowledge
  • Participating in a 24/7 call rotation within the team

What will you need to be successful?

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum two years of sales experience
  • Healthcare or clinical environment experience preferred
  • Ability to learn and apply technical product and procedural information
  • Strong relationship building abilities with clinicians and hospital personnel
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate and support a team
  • Willingness to travel as required
  • Ability to complete all credentialing requirements for healthcare facility access

The anticipated base compensation range for this position is $65,000 USD annually. The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at the high end of the range for their role at Smith + Nephew. Compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate. In addition to base compensation, this position is eligible for sales commission and incentives based on set targets. The commission earned will depend on the candidate's performance in the role.
