Job Purpose Summary

We are seeking an Associate Sales Representative - Ophthalmology with an entrepreneurial spirit who excels in a dynamic, growth-oriented environment to join our team.

The Associate Sales Representative - Ophthalmology is responsible for supporting the sales process for our surgical and clinic product portfolios, providing in-service and technical support to customers, and working in conjunction with our Field Sales Team on customer management.

What you will do
  • The Associate Sales Representative (ASR) position is responsible for driving revenue of Corza products in existing and new customers in acute and non-acute settings. A successful Associate Sales Representative will work with existing Territory Managers to increase sales by supporting clinical trials, cross-selling and upselling the Corza Medical portfolio, and regularly in-service current customers to ensure a healthy purchasing cycle. This is a hybrid position and as such, the ability to be a team player is crucial.
  • Demonstrate effective territory knowledge and partner as needed with Territory Managers and adherence to assigned administrative duties.
  • Provide feedback on customers, competitors, promotional programs, and environmentalchanges and provide ideas to improve product and company performance in the marketplace.
  • Communicate regularly with Director of Sales and provide feedback.
  • Demonstrate ability to perform administrative and clinical support tasks in a timely manner.
  • Build and maintain positive working relationships with surgical and support staff.
  • Drive and manage the sales cycle at all levels within targeted accounts to realize advancement of selling process on a weekly and monthly basis.
  • Attend trade shows, conventions, and/or clinical meetings as needed.
  • Understand and comply with applicable customer policies, HIPAA, and vendor requirements.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned or required.
What you will need
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field.
  • Minimum 2+ years experience. 1-2 years' operating room sales/medical device experience is required. Ophthalmology experience is a plus.
  • B2B selling experience, within med device or related fields preferred.
  • Proficient with CRM platform (Salesforce.com).
  • Highly organized and has very effective time management skills.
  • Highly customer focused.
  • Excellent selling and presentation skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills including strong listening skills.
  • Ability to effectively build and maintain positive relationships with peers and colleagues across organizational levels.
  • Working knowledge of Windows, MS Office, PowerPoint as well as networks and internet applications.
  • Up to 25% overnight travel domestically within territory (depending on candidate’s location within region).
  • Must live within the Los Angeles, CA area.
  • This role requires meeting the hospital credentialing requirements.

Corza Medical offers a competitive benefits package including medical, 401K, vacation and sick time, paternal leave and other benefits.
A reasonable estimate of the current pay range for this role is $130,000 - $150,000 total compensation (salary + comp plan). Further, pay is offered based on geographic location, internal equity, market data, applicant’s job-related skills, commensurate experience, required licensures, certifications, and certain degrees.
