Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systemssector is seeking an Associate Project Management/Project Management professional to join our team of qualified individualsonsiteatEl Segundo, CA.

The successful candidate is expected to be a highly motivated, resourceful, self-starter able to work collaboratively with internal and external teams in high-tempo environments. This role will actively work with the R&AD Battle Management Operations Unit Division to support the Advanced Autonomy IPT to lead, integrate, control, and assist with operations support to ensure success of various restricted programs. This position will be expected to assist with reviewing status of projects and budgets, resource planning, preparing for and facilitating meetings, and supporting various administrative functions.

Key roles and responsibilities:

  • Support the Advanced Autonomy IPT to accomplish a variety of precise, time-sensitive monthly deliverables, metrics, and presentations
  • Collaborate across functions to ensure all objectives are met
  • Assist with support of business management meetings and reporting to program leadership
  • Supports coordinating the efforts of proposal teams, including engineers, subcontracts administrators, supplier quality assurance representatives, schedule planners, and cost/material planners
  • Conducting or coordinating review of supplier documentation (e.g., technical evaluations of proposals, acceptance test procedures, cost and schedule reports, software version description documents)
  • Ability to process data transfers from unclassified to secured areas as required
  • Ability to onboard customers for program access to internal / external sites (SharePoint, external teams, confluence, etc.)
  • Facilitate Risk, Issue and Opportunity management
  • Establish and maintain the Advanced Autonomy IPT strategic rhythm

This role may be filled as an Associate Project Management (Level 1) or Project Management (Level 2) based on the qualifications listed below.

Basic Qualifications:

Associate Project Management (Level 1)

  • Bachelor's degree with 0 years' experience in project management
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Products (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Experience working with and manipulating detail-oriented data
  • Active DoD Secret level clearance is required to apply and to start the role, with the ability to obtain and maintain Special Program Access within a reasonable amount of time as determined by business needs

Project Management (Level 2)

  • Bachelor's degree with 2 years' experience in project management, OR Master's degree with 0 years' experience in project management
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Products (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Experience working with and manipulating detail-oriented data
  • Active DoD Secret level clearance is required to apply and to start the role, with the ability to obtain and maintain Special Program Access within a reasonable amount of time as determined by business needs

  • PAR cleared to Program
  • Earned value (EV) management of labor and material control accounts

Pay Ranges by Level

Associate Project Management (Level 1) $63,000 - $94,600

Project Management (Level 2) $75,800 - $113,800

Primary Level Salary Range: $63,000.00 - $94,600.00Secondary Level Salary Range: $75,800.00 - $113,800.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
