  • Coordinates across disciplines.

  • Guides project planning and execution.
  • Develops and manages cost estimates, staffing plans, schedules, and budgets.
  • Solves complex engineering challenges.
  • Evaluates alternatives, mitigates risks, and implements practical, cost-effective solutions.
  • Mentors and develops talent.
  • Supports and coaches junior engineers and technical staff, fostering a high-performing team environment.
  • Engages with key agencies.
  • Collaborates with the FAA and DEN DEC on grants, inspections, and construction administration.
  • Supports construction oversight.
  • Ensures quality assurance and field coordination through project delivery.
  • Independently develops and manages project work plans, schedules, and budgets.
  • Takes corrective action as necessary.
  • Actively manages project budgets and profitability.
  • Analyzes financial reports and ensures timely billing and collections.
  • Serves as the primary point of contact on assigned projects.
  • Drafts routine contract addenda and change orders for review by senior management.
  • Directs and coordinates the work of the project team.
  • Provides informal guidance to Associate PMs and technical staff.
  • Performs all other duties assigned.

About you
  • Requires a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering or a related field.
  • Requires 8 years of experience in aviation engineering and/or project management, with increasing responsibility, to include 3 years of project management experience.
  • PMP Certification, CCM (Certified Construction Manager) or equivalent is desirable, or actively working towards certification.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license (preferred).
  • Proven experience managing airport or aviation facilities or infrastructure projects.
  • Strong understanding of FAA standards, funding processes, and airport development programs.
  • Excellent communication and client management skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Demonstrated success managing budgets, schedules, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office; familiarity with Unifier is a plus.
  • Strong technical writing and documentation.
