Senior Project Manager II, IPCM (Remote)

Full time, United States, Canada

The Senior Project Manager II of Implementation, Projects, & Change Management (IPMC) of Client Shared Services (CSS) is responsible for delivering different types of projects or programs involving, but not limited to, customer implementations and changes as well as agency projects, internal product implementations, and core business process changes.

The Senior Project Manager II is accountable for delivering projects or programs with high complexity, which is measured by the scale and scope of the request. Complexity can be the number of countries or the complexity of the customer or product. Complexity is determined by the IPCM management team when assigning the request based on the information gathered form the vetting.

As a Senior Project Manager II, you will

  • Be responsible for the utilization of established and proven project management tools and processes
  • Plan, analyze, initiate, execute, monitor, and control projects
  • Manage risks and provide visibilities to stakeholders and requesters throughout the lifecycle of the project
  • Consider long-term trends and broad business implications for alternatives
  • Monitor industry for best practices and techniques in problem-solving and bring resolutions to high-impact or cross-functional problems
  • Document flow of administrative processes associated with running programs
  • Analyze program outcomes and make recommendations for improvement
  • Maintain mastery skill level of technology/software related to operating program, instrumental in technology/software enhancements

About you

  • Proven success in leading medium complexity projects in travel management operations
  • Prior experience in a qualified project management role
  • Good technical skills in GDS
  • Ability to facilitate and resolve risks, issues and showstoppers
  • Must be able to concentrate and perform accurately while meeting applicable productivity measures
  • Advanced knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • You have a Project Management certification (Prince2, PMP etc. or equivalent)
  • Excellent communication skills (written and oral) in English
