Job Opportunity: Associate Program Manager
Job Location: Williamsport, PA
Hours/Days of Position: Monday-Friday 8:00-5:30pm
At Spartronics, the Associate Program Manager assists with day-to-day communication and functions to keep accounts operating smoothly and maintain customer satisfaction. This includes, but is not limited to, shipment approvals and ASNs, ECO tracking, open order reports, customer waivers, and other duties as outlined below.
What a Day Looks Like:
• Assisting with all aspects of account program management, which operates in a (CFT) matrix management capacity with the following functional areas: production, planning, materials management, quality, engineering, and new business development
• Assigning priorities to multiple competing activities quickly and effectively, balancing short and long-term needs
• Monitoring and maintaining customer portals, scorecards, and forecasts where applicable.
• Assisting with order management, including quotations, contract reviews, order entry, and date management.
• Tracking open actions both internally and with the customer to ensure progress is being made and all parties are meeting deadlines.
• Tracking ECO activities including CFT status updates, non-recurring expenses (NRE), and implementation.
• Completing E&O reports on a monthly or quarterly basis, reviewing component history, recall options, customer contract requirements, and forecasts to determine what can be presented to customers for recovery.
• Assisting with Identifying program risks and challenges early through the use of system reporting and helps to escalate internally when needed.
Requirements
What You'll Need to Bring:
Education:
• Bachelor's Degree from a 4-year college or university in a related field or equivalent combination of education and years of experience. (Degree in Engineering, Finance/Accounting, or Business Management preferred).
Experience:
• Knowledge of manufacturing best practices such as Lean, 5S, and Kaizen is an asset
Skills:
• Excellent management, communication, and people skills are required
• Must have excellent judgment, technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify complex problems and see them through to resolution
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Team oriented, with demonstrated ability to work with others to drive to targeted outcomes
• Must be flexible and able to deal with multiple, changing priorities
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business documents, contracts, terms and conditions, technical procedures, and/or regulations furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form
• Demonstrated ability working with complex reports and MRP database systems
• Must have excellent written and oral communication skills
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, CFT, or customers
• General understanding of financial concepts (i.e., budgeting and analysis) as well as planning, scheduling, and forecasting knowledge
• Strong customer service focus
Technology skills:
• Applied knowledge of MS Office Suite (Excel, Access, Outlook, PowerPoint, MS Project etc.)
• Experience with an Enterprise Resource Planning Systems such as Oracle or similar systems
