The Program Analyst: Associate will help oversee and manage the operational aspects of projects and serve as one of the liaisons between project management, project teams and line management. This position is vital to ensure their successful support of the U.S. Navy's Landing Craft, Air Cushion (LCAC) Amphibious Combat Vehicle (ACV) program on-base and critical to the success of FWG's partnership with the U.S. Navy. This position will be responsible for ensuring that contract requirements and subcontractor responsibilities are accomplished and implemented in a timely, desirable and professional manner.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
• Oversee and manage the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management
• Review status of projects and budgets
• Manage schedules and prepare status reports
• Assess project issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives
• Develop mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients
• Responsible for: developing budgets and schedules to meet contractual/project requirements for an assigned portion of a program; participating in and establishing and defining program plan requirements; monitoring and reporting performance against plans to ensure that contractual, cost and schedule objectives are met
• Track engineering project work in Jira, assisting with department budgets, producing power point briefings, and other typical analyst tasking, as assigned
• Analyze project data on a continuous basis to identify any potential business risk factors or technology gaps and gain insight into process improvements
• Create bi-weekly reports to update local command and program office sponsors
• Review and provide weekly budget analysis reports and resource allocation
• Support the Navy Program Manager by tracking government labor funding plans
• Provide logistical support by tracking and recording deliveries, stock levels, and part location
• Attend relevant leadership meetings to support tracking of project actions and deliverables
• Identify industry leading tools and methods to improve project business metrics and task execution
• Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and mission focus across the team
• Other duties as related to the business functions of FWG Solutions, as assigned
Requirements & Qualifications
Education:
• High School Degree Required
• Bachelor's Degree Required (years of experience accepted in lieu of degree)
Licenses & Certifications:
• Active Secret Security Clearance or ability to obtain an Interim Secret Clearance
Experience:
• 1+ years of experience in a similar position
• Experience using TEMPR, ERP, JIRA, NEPS, Windchill or other related platforms
• Knowledge of the substantive programs within the division and branches
• Knowledge and experience in project planning, tracking and oversight
Skills & Abilities:
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to monitor and evaluate schedule and financial activities
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize work assignments as required
• Knowledge of correspondence and writing procedures and practices
• Ability to communicate (transmit and receive) tactfully to ensure accomplishment of functions
• Ability to hold yourself and others accountable on short-term and long-term goals
