As an Associate Inside Sales Representative you are responsible for servicing the customer by handling all types of customer problems and request as well as processing orders - usually by telephone.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING (% of Time)
Answer approximately 75 phone calls a day and provide customers with requested information (pricing, ship dates, ...). Input orders into the computer. (90%)
Provide technical help when needed. (10%)
DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
If you can do everything listed above, you've got what it takes. Perhaps some of the following would be helpful too:
  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required.
  • 3 months Related experience and/or training.
  • Computer Skills: type a minimum of 40WPM.
  • Accountability & Dependability: able to consistently demonstrate reliable, punctual attendance.
  • Mathematical Reasoning: able to apply basic Algebra and Geometry concepts. Able to add, subtracts, multiply, and divide whole numbers, fractions, and decimal equivalents.
  • Reading Comprehension: able to read and write simple correspondence and able to follow instructions.
  • Analysis/Reasoning: able to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Customer Focus: ability to quickly and effectively solve customer problems.
  • Communication: able to communicate one-on-one, small group settings and via email.

This job operates in both a professional office environment, customer sites and outdoor construction job sites. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, printers/scanners, etc. The employee occasionally works around moving mechanical parts. Noise level may be loud at times.

This job requires no domestic travel.
