Associate HR Generalist
HYBRID | ONSITE AT JOSTENS' MINNEAPOLIS HEADQUARTERS 3 DAYS/WEEK
ABOUT YOU:
Come join our team! As an Associate HR Generalist, you'll perform entry level HR generalist functions, including coordinating the onboarding/offboarding of employees, supporting HRBPs, and participating in various annual projects.
YOU WILL:
  • Recruit. Full-cycle recruitment, candidate assessment, offer negotiation, and on-boarding coordination. Manage contractor process end to end.
  • Facilitate. Manage and facilitate entire onboarding process for all employees at Corporate. Partner with hiring managers to ensure best in class experience for all new employees. Administer all onboarding and off-boarding activities for contractors through vendor agencies
  • Update and maintain records. Ensure that HR files and records are maintained in accordance with legal requirements and company policies and procedures. Maintain physical and electronic employee records by recording hiring, transfer, change in job classification, change in salary, termination, etc. Maintain and ensure the data integrity of ADP and other applicable databases.
  • Support. Create and submit all promotion letters, status change forms. Support annual projects including employee engagement survey and performance review process. Prepare and manage offboarding paperwork for exiting employees.
YOU HAVE:
  • Passion. Self-directed, with a high sense of urgency and ability to prioritize multiple conflicting tasks or projects while managing work time efficiently.
  • Technical skills. Working level proficiency with full Microsoft Office suite. Must fully observe the requirements of the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996, and Jostens’ HIPAA Privacy and Security policies and procedures in all matters involving protected health information when working with the Jostens health plan.
  • Attention to detail and demonstrated administration skills. Highest degree of integrity, professionalism, diplomacy, and discretion.
  • Great communication skills. Outstanding customer service skills with demonstrated ability to establish and maintain strong internal relationships.
  • Process mindset. Ability to establish or follow processes and maintain order in a fast-paced, compliance-oriented environment.
  • Experience. 3-5 years of relevant experience in a fast-paced environment.
  • Education. Equivalent combination of education and experience to a 4-year degree in HR or related field.
  • Preferred. Experience with ADP workforce and working towards a SHRM-CP certification.
