Job description

Shift: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm EST

Location: Hybrid 2, Alternate locations may be considered if candidates reside within a commuting distance from an office.

Hybrid 2: This role requires associates to be in-office 3 days per week, fostering collaboration and connectivity, while providing flexibility to support productivity and work-life balance. This approach combines structured office engagement with the autonomy of virtual work, promoting a dynamic and adaptable workplace.

The Manager II Technology is responsible for maintaining Information Technology (IT) strategies by researching and implementing technological strategic solutions to ensure the streamlined operation of the IT department.

How you will make an impact:

  • Oversees information systems function for a site, system, or special initiative.
  • Manages multiple cost centers and/or plan of record projects; delivers and supports software system solutions that support the operations of their functional areas.
  • Manages at least a single application (or the equivalent capital and/or level of responsibility and complexity).
  • Evaluates all directives, change orders, and projects as to their impact on tactical plans, budgets, and contract compliance.
  • Oversees and implements new subsystems, procedures and techniques; manages implementation/integration projects to ensure deliverables.
  • Establishes and maintains collaborative relationships with key business partners.
  • Hires, trains, coaches, counsels, and evaluates performance of direct reports.

Minimum requirements:

  • Requires an BA/BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field of study and a minimum of 5 years of experience leading project teams, application software development, maintenance or implementation and support, including 3 years of management or leadership experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

Preferred skills, experiences, and capabilities:

  • Enterprise UAT leadership across large-scale technology implementations, especially claim editing
  • People management: team leadership, coaching, performance management, resource planning, and workload prioritization
  • End-to-end UAT management: planning, test execution, defect management, reporting, sign-off, and release readiness
  • Test automation strategy and automated regression testing
  • Prepay editing platforms, claims-editing logic design, and maintenance
  • Reimbursement methodologies and medical policy application
  • Test governance: requirements traceability, test standards, defect triage, root-cause analysis, and quality metrics
  • Process improvement and operational excellence, including Lean or continuous improvement methods
  • Cross-functional stakeholder management across business, product, technology, quality, operations, and executive leadership
  • SDLC and Agile methodologies, with the ability to manage multiple complex initiatives in a matrixed environment
