Provide guidance and mentorship to ensure consistency and excellence in storytelling.
  • Technical Translation: Distill complex technical concepts, product innovations, and industry trends into clear, compelling, and accessible narratives that resonate with diverse audiences, including tech decision‑makers and C‑suite executives.
  • Thought Leadership Development: Contribute to crafting content that communicates Salesforce’s visionary approach to AI and the Agentic Enterprise, explores the larger conversation around AI with unique insight, and reinforces our reputation as a pioneer in the enterprise technology and AI landscape.
  • Industry Expertise: Stay deeply informed on industry trends, news, and developments, particularly related to AI, data, platform technologies, and the Agentic Enterprise landscape, leveraging this knowledge to identify timely and relevant story opportunities.
  • Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product, PR, marketing, investor relations, HR, and other internal teams to ensure content accuracy and alignment with broader company initiatives, while maintaining editorial integrity and clarity of purpose.
  • Newsroom Voice & Vision: Adhere to and elevate the Salesforce Newsroom's distinct voice and purpose, aligning with Salesforce's unique and differentiated vision and products.
Qualifications
  • 6-9 years of journalism experience, with a demonstrated ability to break, understand, and contextualize highly technical product news.
  • Proven track record of managing editorial processes from ideation to publication, including assigning, editing, and stakeholder management.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills, with a portfolio of clips that showcase an ability to distill complex technical concepts into clear, compelling, and accessible messages.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, high‑growth environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong collaborative spirit and ability to work across teams and with senior leaders.
  • Strong editorial vision and the ability to establish and maintain a distinct, authoritative voice.
