Job Description
We are currently hiring a FT Associate Compliance Analyst hybrid in Boston, MA.
The Associate Compliance Analyst provides support to obtain commercial approval of alcoholic beverages worldwide with a concentration on the United States, and execute project tasks related to licensing, permitting, formulas and brand registration.
*A Hybrid position at Boston Beer requires that our coworkers reside within commuting distance to be onsite according to their teams' weekly schedule.
What You'll Brew:
  • Coordinate and prepare, maintain and follow up on regulatory submissions for product approval, including formula and label approvals.
  • Participate in interactions with regulatory agencies as needed to obtain product approval/clearance.
  • Participate in key meetings and decision-making process regarding formulation and labeling.
  • Assist in the review and approval of product labeling, packaging and advertising for compliance with applicable regulations.
  • Coordinate and prepare regulatory submissions to support the import and export of alcoholic beverages.
  • Coordinate, prepare, and maintain federal and state licensing to support the production and sales of alcoholic beverages.
  • Prepare and organize internal databases and documents on a variety of regulatory and compliance matters.
  • Performs other regulatory affairs duties when requested.
  • May assist in the performance of internal quality and regulatory compliance audits and the evaluation and monitoring of corrective actions
  • Perform factual and legal research
  • Provides backup support to others on the Regulatory Affairs team
  • Tactical/Execution of Regulatory tasks as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:
  • 1 - 5 years of relevant work experience
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Excel
  • Excellent, clear language and communication skills, written and verbal
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast-paced multi-task environment and under time constraints and deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • 4-year degree

Level: 8IC
At the Boston Beer Company and in accordance with pay transparency laws, we are open about our salary ranges. For this role, the salary range is between $23.56 and $44.23/hour. However, it's important to note that where the person hired starts in this range is dependent on their related experience, skillset and location. Additionally, this position qualifies for a discretionary annual bonus based on company and individual performance, and certain sales roles might include a car allowance.
