Job Description:

L3Harris Technologies is seeking a Business Intel Analyst to join our newly developed Performance Excellence Program (PEP) in Camden, AR. The candidate will collaborate closely with leadership and shop floor teams to develop critical operational metrics, track and analyze data trends, compile comprehensive reports, build insightful dashboards, and organize biweekly team meetings across the site. Additionally, the Business Intel Analyst will develop business solutions to enhance the visibility of the overall performance and effectiveness of the PEP program to site senior leadership and efficiently track actions to closure.

Essential Functions:

  • Collaborate with shop floor teams to identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and develop metrics that accurately reflect operational performance within the PEP.
  • Collect, track, and analyze data from various sources to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can inform business decisions and improve operational efficiency.
  • Compile detailed reports that summarize operational performance, trends, and insights, and presenting these findings to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
  • Build and maintain interactive dashboards that provide real-time visibility into key metrics and performance indicators.
  • Organize and facilitate biweekly team meetings across the site, preparing agendas, documenting meeting minutes, and ensuring follow-up on action items.
  • Efficiently track and manage actions to closure, ensuring accountability and timely completion of tasks.
  • Develop and implement business solutions that enhance visibility into the overall performance and effectiveness of the PEP program for site senior leadership.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related Business Analyst experience. Graduate Degree or equivalent Business Analsyt with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 6 years of prior related Business Analyst experience.

Preferred Technical Skills:

  • Data Analysis and Visualization:
    • Excel: Advanced skills, including formulas, pivot tables, and VBA automation.
    • Tableau or Power BI: Experience in creating interactive and shareable dashboards and performing business analytics and data visualization.
  • Database Management:
    • SQL: Proficiency in managing and querying large datasets using SQL Server, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
  • Business Intelligence:
    • One BI Tool: Experience with at least one comprehensive BI solution such as SAP BusinessObjects, IBM Cognos Analytics, or Oracle BI.
  • Data Warehousing:
    • ETL Tools: Experience with data integration tools like Apache NiFi, Talend, or Informatica.
  • Project Management and Collaboration:
    • JIRA or Trello/Asana: Experience with project tracking and management.
    • Confluence: Proficiency in documentation and collaboration.
