Description

Associate Business Systems Analyst (Contract)

Agility 360 is seeking an Associate Business Systems Analyst to support a blended technology and operations function within a complex internal systems environment. This role is ideal for an early-career professional looking to build experience in business analysis, systems support, QA/testing, and operational processes. The Associate BSA will work closely with senior analysts, business stakeholders, and IT teams to learn internal systems, assist with requirements gathering, and support testing and day-to-day operational activities. This role offers strong growth potential into a full Business Systems Analyst position based on performance and business needs.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Assist in gathering, documenting, and refining business requirements, including user stories and process flows
  • Support the analysis of current systems and workflows to help identify improvement opportunities
  • Partner with business users and IT teams to understand needs and contribute to solution delivery
  • Learn and support operational workflows to build a strong understanding of system functionality
  • Participate in a hybrid role across business analysis, QA/UAT support, and operations
  • Help maintain and update system documentation, dashboards, and basic reporting tools
  • Support testing efforts, including test case preparation, execution, and defect tracking
  • Assist with user acceptance testing (UAT) coordination and documentation
  • Provide basic system support, troubleshooting assistance, and respond to user inquiries
  • Contribute to process improvement and automation initiatives under guidance
  • Use tools like Azure DevOps and Confluence to track work and maintain documentation
  • Utilize Excel for data validation, reporting, and analysis
  • Ensure adherence to internal processes, compliance standards, and best practices

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience
  • 0-2 years of experience in business analysis, IT, operations, or a related role (internships included)
  • Basic understanding of requirements gathering and documentation (user stories, process flows, etc.)
  • Exposure to software development lifecycle (SDLC) or testing processes is a plus
  • Familiarity with Excel (formulas, data organization, basic analysis)
  • Interest in learning enterprise systems and complex workflows
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with team members
  • Ability to learn quickly, take initiative, and adapt in a dynamic environment
  • Experience with tools like Azure DevOps, Jira, or Confluence is a plus
