Job description

Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree and minimum 9 years experience; 7 Years with Masters; 4 Years with PhD.
    • An additional four (4) years of experience may be substituted in lieu of the bachelors degree requirement.
  • Must possess or be able to obtain one of the following certification before start date. Continued certification required as a condition of employment:
    • CySA+, CASP+ CE, CCNP Security, CEH, CFR, CHFI, CISA, CISSP (or Associate), Cloud+, CND, GCED, GCIH, GICSP, SSCP
  • Minimum 2 years of coding experience (any programming language).
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in cybersecurity or data analytics.
  • Foundational cybersecurity knowledge or foundational understanding of network and host telemetry.
  • Experience developing dashboards and reports using Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools.
  • Ability to communicate analytical findings clearly to technical and non‑technical audiences.
  • U.S. citizenship required.
  • Active Top Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain TS/SCI.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Two (2) or more years of hands‑on experience with Python or SQL.
  • Experience working with Python/Pandas for data transformation, automation, and analytics.
  • Experience supporting cybersecurity operations, threat analysis, or security monitoring.
  • Experience with large‑scale operational or cybersecurity datasets.
  • Experience building automated reporting pipelines or analytics workflows.
  • Experience using data visualization tools to support leadership reporting and operational decision‑making.
  • Familiarity with supervised and unsupervised machine learning concepts.

Location: On‑site in Arlington, VA.

In this role, you'll work with large‑scale cybersecurity and operational datasets to uncover trends, identify emerging threats, and deliver insights that drive mission‑critical decisions. You'll collaborate with cybersecurity engineers, threat analysts, and program leaders to transform complex data into meaningful intelligence that strengthens national security operations.

What You’ll Do:

  • Conduct exploratory data analysis to support operational monitoring, situational awareness, and decision‑making.
  • Collaborate with cybersecurity analysts and stakeholders to translate business and operational requirements into data‑driven insights.

  • Assist with identifying reporting gaps, data inconsistencies, and opportunities for process improvement.
