Spero Health is seeking an Associate Applications Analyst to join our awesome team in Brentwood, TN!


The Associate Applications Analyst role is an entry-level position within the IT Department and is primarily responsible for supporting internal teammates of the organization with their clinical application needs. Their assignments will focus on resolving service requests within our HelpDesk platform, requiring great interpersonal communication with teammates and strong customer service skills. 


The Associate Applications Analyst's responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Provide technical and clinical application support to peers and teammates  
  • Perform basic troubleshooting of issues related to supported applications  
  • Maintain exceptional customer service  
  • Triage inbound calls, voicemails, emails, and?HelpDesk?tickets?  
  • Resolve?HelpDesk?tickets according to priority and service level objectives (SLOs)  
  • Effectively communicate issues to both technical and non-technical audiences  
  • Engage with vendors for technical discussions and escalations  
  • Create and update user credentials within supported applications  
  • User access management for ancillary clinical applications including but not limited to Zoom, Quest Diagnostics, and DrFirst, our e-prescribing platform 
  • Assist providers with completing EPCS (Electronic Prescribing of Controlled Substances) registration and multi-factor authentication  
  • Assign provider delegates as needed  
  • Coordinate with other Support departments on issues spanning multiple stakeholders (e.g., Credentialing, Revenue Operations, Clinical Services, etc)  
  • Participate in Department special projects  
  • Assist IT leaders throughout the scope of project implementations   
  • Perform other tasks as assigned  

Requirements

Education:

  • High School Diploma or GED required

Experience:

  • 1+ year(s) in a technical or application Support role strongly preferred
  • Previous work experience in IT or healthcare preferred 

Specialized Skills and Knowledge:

  • Excellent communication skills and active listening 
  • Empathy for teammates, patience and understanding 
  • Strong investigative and diagnostic skills  
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, maintain flexibility as urgent issues arise, and work well on a deadline
