Job description

As a Senior Product Associate in the Trust and Security Authentication Platforms and Modelling team, you contribute to the team by leveraging your expertise in product development and optimization to make a significant impact, supported by user research and customer feedback to fuel the creation of innovative products and continuously improve existing offerings. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and play a crucial role in shaping the future of our products and ongoing success.

You will bridge strategy to execution and blend operational management of product requirements and releases with value-added capabilities ensuring product features are delivered comprehensively in alignment with CI&A product strategy and objectives.  You will be responsible for effectively managing key dependencies, communicating issues, and allocating resources to the highest priorities.  Success in this role requires strong collaboration and communication with other product and technology partners.  

Job responsibilities

  • Partners with the Product Manager to identify new product opportunities that reflect the needs of our customers and the market through user research and discovery
  • Considers and plans for upstream and downstream implications of new product features on the overall product experience
  • Supports the collection of user research, journey mapping, and market analysis to inform the strategic product roadmap and provide insight on potential product features that provide value to customers
  • Analyzes, tracks, and evaluates product metrics including work to time, cost, and quality targets across the product development life cycle
  • Writes the requirements, epics, and user stories to support product development 
  • Partner with the quads to implement features by facilitating technical and non-technical discussions.
  • Partner with QA teams on end-to-end testing, perform user acceptance testing and post production implementation validation.
  • Facilitate problem solving and prioritization across teams, factoring in tradeoffs between speed, scalability, quality and wider business readiness.
  • Demonstrate and support dissemination of bets practices for product management, product development, release management and users support.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 3+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domain area
  • Proficient knowledge of the product development life cycle
  • Experience in product life cycle activities including discovery and requirements definition
  • Developing knowledge of data analytics and data literacy
  • Experience in tools supporting agile software development, issue tracking and project management, such as Jira, Figma and/or similar industry tools.
  • Proven record of delivering impactful product demonstrations.
  • Experience managing and delivering projects following software development lifecycle from inception to production.
  • Industry specific knowledge and experience in the areas of Authentication, Authorization and Identify lifecycle management.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Hands-on experience working with OAuth2 and OpenID Connect framework.
  • Some experience with API based products.
  • AWS certification is a plus.
