Legal Secretary

Are you organized, detail-oriented, and looking to grow your career in the legal field? We are seeking a Legal Secretary to provide administrative and clerical support to attorneys while ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of a busy law office.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare, proofread, and format legal documents, correspondence, and contracts
  • File legal documents electronically and with the courts
  • Manage attorney calendars, meetings, court dates, and deadlines
  • Answer phones, greet clients, and provide exceptional customer service
  • Organize and maintain electronic and paper client files
  • Coordinate with clients, courts, attorneys, and other legal professionals
  • Track case deadlines and assist with case management
  • Process billing, invoices, and expense reports
  • Perform general administrative duties including scanning, filing, and document management
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; legal secretary or paralegal certificate preferred
  • Previous experience in a law office or legal administrative role preferred
  • Knowledge of legal terminology and court procedures
