Job description

POSITION SUMMARY

The Project Scheduler will assist project teams in developing, tracking and updating schedules from inception to completion of the project. The Project Scheduler will also work with the Scheduling team to enhance overall business flow.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Communicate effectively with all field staff members, scheduling consultant and the client to ensure efficient and accurate schedule development and updates
  • Meet with Subcontractors as required in development of baseline schedule, monthly updates and recovery schedule
  • Identify and communicate significant schedule risks to Staff and appropriate Division personnel
  • Forecast impacts of variances to aid in the management of the schedule.
  • Utilize Primavera P6 scheduling software to update and document schedule performance
  • Monitor and status schedule progress
  • Analyze delivery impacts, time extensions, claims, etc. through the use of schedule fragnets
  • Interact with scheduling consultant in schedule reviews, claims analysis, etc. Perform cash flow projections / analysis on a monthly basis
  • Participate in Division training seminars
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Engineering required or equivalent years of experience in Scheduling.
  • Primavera P6 scheduling experience Preferred
  • General knowledge of construction means and methods
  • Good organization and communication skills.

For Southern California locations only, the salary range for this position is: $110,000 - $145,000. This does not include possible bonus and other benefits which can impact total compensation.
