Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm

WHAT YOUโLL DO
As an Assistant Parts Manager, youโll support the leadership and daily operations of the Parts Department, helping drive sales growth, operational efficiency, and compliance while supporting team development. You will:
โค Support Parts Department personnel in growing parts sales through effective use of resources, marketing materials, and merchandising
โค Assist with implementing Hunter Truck policies, procedures, and dealership training programs
โค Update and maintain CRM systems to track business opportunities and assess success ratios
โค Enforce safety rules and support compliance with OSHA and company safety regulations
โค Develop and maintain effective merchandising displays
โค Partner with the Parts Manager to develop training and succession plans for the department
โค Assist in preparing and administering the annual Parts Department operating budget
โค Maintain accurate vehicle and major asset maintenance records to maximize return on assets
โค Support Area of Responsibility (AOR) development through research, customer visits, and trade show participation
โค Attend manager meetings and collaborate with leadership to accomplish assigned goals
โค Promote a professional appearance and a safe, team-focused work environment
โค Conduct safety training, inspections, and accident prevention initiatives as directed
โค Investigate incidents and recommend corrective actions and continuous improvement measures
WHAT YOU BRING
โ Education & Experience: Bachelorโs Degree preferred, with 5+ years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Strong interpersonal skills required. Experience with medium- and heavy-duty trucks is required.
โ Certificates & Licenses:
ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) Certification preferred; related parts or product certifications considered
Valid Driverโs License required; must meet company insurability standards
โ Physical Requirements: Regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lbs and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 lbs. Vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
