Job description

Overview

The Human Resources Coordinator assists in managing the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources department. S/he/they will play integral role with Recruitment, Onboarding, and Resort Recognition events and programs.  S/he/they will also offer support as needed with the Sunriver International Student Program, HRIS system, Office Organization and Coverage, and general Human Resources tasks.  S/he/they will ensure accuracy, confidentiality, and compliancy of all employee records and information.

He/She/They shall strive to deliver exceptional service to all internal and external guests at all times. In this role, they are responsible for exemplifying the Sunriver Resort Culture and actively supporting our Vision and Mission to be the destination of choice for our guests, owners, and associates.

Responsibilities
  • Provides coverage for the HR office, warmly welcome public, answer phones, filing, etc.
  • Assist public and associates with general questions
  • Supports and advocates for a team environment in HR and around the resort
  • Learn key Human Resources systems HRIS, ATS, I-9 Compliance, etc.
  • Assist with full-cycle recruitment activities from Job Posting to On-boarding and filing
  • Prepares new hire paperwork packets
  • Verifies employment eligibility documentation and assists with I-9 completion and E-Verify compliance
  • Partner with Training and Recruitment Manager with New Associate Orientation/Welcome Back facilitation as well as other trainings as needed
  • Plan and execute full process of Workperks program
  • Responsible for coordinating property Service Anniversary programs
  • Responsible for coordinating resort Associate and Leader of the Month program
  • Coordinates Associate Recognition Celebrations (ie: Associate Events, Service Anniversary Events, etc)
  • Provides support for international student program, including transportation, hire paperwork, Form I9, data entry, housing related support like physically moving beds, and seasonal program initiatives as needed
  • Creates and distributes NameTags as needed
  • Assists with creating and delivering content on internal communication platform, Connect
  • Assist with all record keeping efforts. File maintenance (filing), storage, accuracy, and confidentiality
  • Performs internal self-audits. Identifies gap areas and coordinates plans to correct these compliance gaps with the support of HRD
  • Generates reports, compiles data, and maintains HR tracking systems as needed
  • Assists with unemployment claim administration and employment verifications
  • Maintains knowledge of company policies, procedures, and applicable employment laws to support compliance and consistent HR practices
  • Partner with the Assistant HR Director to coordinate Leave of Absences and Benefits as needed
  • Assist HR Director and Assistant HR Director on tasks and special projects as needed
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • High School diploma required, advanced degree preferred
  • Prior office administration experience preferred
  • Prior experience using Microsoft Outlook programs required
  • At least one year of human resource experience preferred
  • Prior hospitality experience preferred
  • Must have valid Driver's License and meeting company driving standards/requirements
  • Must have strong verbal, written, analytical, presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Must be highly professional in appearance and demeanor
  • Ability to work with high level of autonomy
  • Must have great documentation skills
  • Ability to organize and prioritize work and meet deadlines
  • Ability to maintain strong levels of business, especially in highly confidential and sensitive interactions
  • Must have strong computer knowledge, especially Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and internet, and comfort with HRIS and Applicant Tracking Systems
  • Must be able to occasionally lift carry, push & pull up to 25 lbs. Up to 50lbs with assistance
