ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant General Manager to join a high-volume, full-service casual dining and sports entertainment concept known for its energetic atmosphere, exceptional guest experiences, and fast-paced environment.

This is an outstanding opportunity for a proven Assistant General Manager or a strong restaurant leader ready to step into a General Manager Bench role. We're looking for someone who enjoys leading from the floor, developing high-performing teams, and driving operational excellence in a dynamic, guest-focused setting.

Qualified candidates with previous General Manager experience or those ready to advance into a General Manager role may be considered for additional compensation based on experience.

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Assistant General Manager partners closely with the General Manager to oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, including guest satisfaction, financial performance, team development, food quality, labor management, and operational execution.

This is a hands-on leadership position that requires leading by example, coaching managers and team members, and ensuring an exceptional guest experience during both peak and late-night business hours.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Operations Leadership

Lead daily restaurant operations while maintaining exceptional guest service standards

Drive food quality, cleanliness, and operational excellence

Support staffing, scheduling, and shift execution

Ensure compliance with company policies, food safety standards, and sanitation procedures

Maintain a safe, clean, and organized restaurant environment

Financial Performance

Assist with labor management, food cost, inventory, and controllable expenses

Monitor restaurant performance and support profitability goals

Execute operational action plans that improve sales and efficiency

Team Leadership

Recruit, hire, train, coach, and develop team members

Build a positive culture focused on accountability, teamwork, and hospitality

Develop future managers through coaching and leadership development

Provide ongoing feedback and performance management

Guest Experience

Deliver an exceptional guest experience through outstanding hospitality

Resolve guest concerns professionally and efficiently

Lead the team during high-volume service periods while maintaining service and quality standards

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum two to four years of restaurant management experience

Previous Assistant General Manager experience preferred

Strong front-of-house and back-of-house leadership experience

Experience in high-volume casual dining, sports bar, or full-service restaurant environments preferred

Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills

Experience managing labor, food cost, inventory, and P&L performance

Ability to lead in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high operational standards

Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, late nights, weekends, and holidays
