Summary:
Primary accountability for recording all financial transactions according to GAAP resulting in the creation of monthly financial statements and reports for the consolidated entity of Faith Health. Other responsibilities include preparation of payroll tax and sales and use tax returns and preparation of various ad hoc reports for Faith Health leadership. Responsibilities for Faith Health include preparation of various intercompany journal entries and reconciliations.

Responsibilities:
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Ensure timely and accurate completion of financial information for Faith Health (including but not limited to):

  • Record daily deposits.
  • Analyze monthly transactions and reconcile all accounts on a monthly basis.
  • Examine invoices for proper coding.
  • Prepare necessary supporting schedules for the monthly financial statements.
  • Assist in monthly financial statement preparation.
  • Prepare and file use tax reports monthly.
  • Prepare, track and amortize prepaids.
  • Responsible for FRPS accrual schedule
  • Reconcile bank statements for St. Joseph's Nursing Home and FRPS.
  • Record inter-department charges.
  • Record and reconcile intercompany accounts.

2. Compile monthly worksheet reporting department and facility-wide statistics.
3. Prepare daily monitoring reporting primary statistics for morning huddle.
4. Assist in reporting for bond compliance.
5. Assist in processing Accounts Payable checks weekly.
6. Prepare and dispatch Tenant Billings - includes Northeast Nebraska Surgery Center.
7. Prepare and dispatch Physicians and clinic buildings.
  1. Ensure timely and accurate completion of financial information for Lutheran Board.
  1. Prepare and file annual unclaimed property report and personal property returns.

10. Prepare supporting schedules and work papers for External Auditors.
11. Assists with hospital wide inventory process.
  1. Strives to represent Faith Health and the department in a positive manner.

Hours will be dependent on patient census and workload. Ability and willingness to work a flexible schedule, to include after-hours and weekends as necessary.
