This is a great opportunity for a construction accounting professional who's ready to step into a high-impact role where the numbers you manage are directly tied to real projects, real people, and real results.
What You'll Do:
  • Leading the monthly close cycle, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and compliance monitoring
  • Ensuring accurate job cost tracking, SOV billing, percent-complete reporting, and WIP analysis in close partnership with project teams
  • Developing and implementing strong internal controls, accounting policies, and GAAP-compliant procedures
  • Overseeing payroll processing, vendor payments, AP/AR workflows, and general ledger accuracy
  • Supporting annual budgeting, forecasting, year-end audits, and insurance-related financial reporting
  • Providing the CFO with accurate, timely financial metrics and championing continuous improvement across departmental processes
What We're Looking For:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred
  • At least 5 years of construction or public accounting experience
  • Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical, reconciliation, and organizational abilities
  • CPA preferred but not required
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
