Position: Dietitian Assistant (Call Center)

Location: Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center4940 Eastern Avenue, Baltimore, MD 21224

Schedule: Rotating schedule, 40 hours per week, with overtime opportunities available

Pay Rate: $20.40 per hour

ResponsibilitiesPosition SummaryThe Dietitian Assistant supports the Food and Nutrition Services Department by assisting patients with meal ordering and providing administrative support in a fast-paced call center environment. Responsibilities include processing patient meal orders, entering menu information, printing meal tickets, generating production and tube feeding reports, and delivering exceptional customer service to patients, visitors, and hospital staff. This role plays a key part in ensuring patient satisfaction and enhancing the overall patient experience. Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail while managing multiple tasks
  • Answer calls and assist patients with meal selection and ordering
  • Accurately enter and update menu information
  • Print and distribute patient meal tickets
  • Generate production sheets and tube feeding reports
  • Provide excellent customer service to patients, visitors, and hospital staff
  • Support daily food service operations and ensure accurate dietary information is communicated
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • At least 1 year of experience in a similar work environment
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced call center setting
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
