Job description

We are seeking an Otolaryngologist (ENT) for weekend call coverage in Massachusetts. This is a call-only opportunity with no clinic responsibilities, providing adult and pediatric ENT coverage in a hospital setting.

Assignment Details

  • Coverage needed August–September
  • Potential for extension
  • Weekend call coverage only
  • 100% call-based assignment

Schedule

  • Approximately 2 weekends per month
  • Friday 4:00 PM – Monday 6:00 AM
  • On-site call coverage
  • No weekday clinic responsibilities

Practice Setting

  • Hospital-based ENT coverage
  • Adult and Pediatric patient population
  • Resident support available during coverage

Clinical Responsibilities

  • Inpatient ENT call coverage
  • Emergency and trauma-related ENT cases
  • Surgical coverage as needed
  • No outpatient clinic responsibilities

Procedures Include

  • Cerumen removal
  • Diagnostic laryngoscopy
  • Diagnostic nasal endoscopy
  • Excision of tongue fold lesions
  • General ENT emergency procedures

Requirements

  • Physician (MD/DO)
  • Adult and Pediatric ENT experience required
  • Trauma experience required
  • Active Massachusetts license required
  • Must be available for weekend call coverage

  • Due to timeline constraints, only providers with an active Massachusetts license will be considered
