Locums - Saint Paul, Minnesota, Medical Oncologist Float Pool Opening (IMLC Accepted)

Start Date:ASAP

Assignment Duration:13 weeks

Coverage Requirements:Full-time coverage

Schedule Details:

  • Monday-Friday
  • 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
  • Inpatient service coverage
  • Overnight call required
  • Weekend call highly preferred

If a provider elects not to take weekend call, the service week will conclude on Friday at 4:30 PM.

Practice Settings:

  • Hospital
  • Infusion Center
  • Outpatient Clinic

Patient Volume:22-25 patients per day

Consult volume may vary.

Support Staff:

  • 2 Physicians
  • 2 Advanced Practice Providers with pager coverage
  • No APP coverage on weekends

Hospital Details:

  • 540-bed hospital

Position Responsibilities:

  • Lead inpatient Medical Oncology service
  • Manage inpatient malignant hematology and oncology patients
  • Provide Medical Oncology consults
  • Supervise Advanced Practice Providers
  • Coordinate continuity of care across inpatient and infusion services
  • Participate in overnight and weekend call coverage
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary oncology teams
